South Florida native, Laura was born and raised in Miami and Key Largo. Both her parents were school teachers; her mother from Cuba and father a New Yorker. She graduated from Florida International University with a BS in Hospitality Management and was immediately recruited to work for Four Seasons Hotels in San Francisco, Houston and Chicago. She came back to South Florida in 1992 where she worked for Hyatt Hotels before finding her way to the cruise industry with a job at Royal Caribbean and then Celebrity Cruises, where she worked for 15 years as Manager of Incentive Sales and Director of Sales for Mid Atlantic. Laura finally joined Cruise Planners in 2008 and has been an intricate player in the Franchise Development Team.
Laura is married with 2 children, a boy and a girl, who are very active in soccer and Boy Scouts. She loves to travel with her family, finding new and exciting places and things to do.

Fun Facts: I hiked to the base of an erupting volcano in Costa Rica and got ashed. All my close friends and family call me Lauri. As a child I always wanted to be a marine biologist but unfortunately I hated science.
