Cruise Planners/American Express, the nation’s largest home-based travel agent franchise network in the cruise industry, was recognized by three top travel companies with awards reflecting dedicated corporate partnerships and support to the cruise travel industry. The awards include the “Globe Award” from American Express Vacations; the Globus “Top Producing Premier Partner” award and recognition in Oceana Cruises’ Cruise Connoisseur Club.

Cruise Planners/American Express, the nation’s largest home-based travel agent franchise network in the cruise industry, today launched the Communication Coach™ program for its home-based travel agents. The computer-based technology, created by Success Sciences, is a simulated training tool that teaches agents to build their interpersonal skills when speaking to customers by telephone.

The honor is associated with the cruise line’s coveted Travel Partners of the Year award.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Michelle Fee, Co-Founder and CEO of Cruise Planners/American Express, the nation’s largest home-based travel agent franchise network in the cruise industry, has been named one of the “top 25 most extraordinary minds†in sales and marketing for 2009 by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI). Fee will be honored Feb.1 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City.
