The award was presented in recognition of Cruise Planners/American Express™ exceptional 2008 sales results with the Globus Family of Brands.

Last month, the company achieved the #1 ranking among all cruise agency franchises on Entrepreneur Magazine's Franchise 500 list of the world's top franchises for the sixth consecutive year, while also receiving a Globe Award from Travel Impressions/American Express Vacations. Awards earned in 2008 included NCL's President's Elite Award (seventh straight year), the American Express Travel 2007 Representative Excellence Award (fourth straight year) and a Silver Magellan Award from Travel Weekly.
