Cruise Planners franchise owner Summer Bowers, since 2019, is married to a Sergeant First Class (E-7) and airborne
infantryman who has served for 14 years.

Every Veterans Day, we pause to honor the brave men and women whose courage, sacrifice, and dedication have shaped the freedoms we cherish. At Cruise Planners, that spirit runs deep amongst the many extraordinary franchise owners who once served our nation and now serve their clients and community with the same commitment and heart.

Red represents courage and sacrifice. It symbolizes the bravery of our active-duty and veteran agents who face challenges with honor and strength. They remind us that true leadership is built on service, and that courage continues long after the uniform comes off. It lives in every client call, every itinerary built with care, and every experience they help make possible.

White stands for resilience and renewal. Many of our veteran franchise owners have transitioned from military life to entrepreneurship, building new futures for themselves and their families while continuing to uplift others. Their journeys reflect what Veterans Day is all about: finding purpose, forging new paths, and standing tall in the face of change.

Blue embodies loyalty, integrity, and the boundless spirit of freedom that inspires us to explore the world. It’ is the color of wide-open skies and endless horizons, a reminder that travel connects us all and that the same drive that fuels those who serve our country also powers their passion for adventure and service in travel.

At Cruise Planners, Green is the color that ties it all together. Green represents growth, opportunity, and the Cruise Planners family. It’ is the color of the possibility of turning military values like discipline, leadership, and teamwork into thriving travel businesses. As Michelle Fee, Founder and CEO of Cruise Planners, said, “Veterans make incredible business owners because they know what it means to lead, to serve, and to adapt — skills that translate beautifully into entrepreneurship. As travel advisors, they’re helping clients navigate the world, plan meaningful experiences, and build connections — something that comes naturally to those who have dedicated their lives to service. We’re proud to stand beside them with the systems, mentorship, and community that help them succeed.”

The veterans pictured above are Cruise Planners franchise owners. Over 800 members of our network have served in the military, and we’re proud to honor their service.

We are proud to be a place where veterans and active-duty service members can channel their skills into new ventures and support them every step of the way.

To our Cruise Planners heroes, and to all who serve and have served, we thank you. Your courage inspires us, your stories move us, and your spirit drives everything we do.

This Veterans Day, we celebrate not just where you have been but where you are going, and we are honored to be part of the journey.
