Movie (TCM) Classic Cruise scheduled to make its debut on December 8, 2011.Celebrity Millennium, will host the four-night sail, appealing too classic movie fans and enjoying nostalgic movie celebrations. Additional appearances will be featuring Tippi Hedren, Norman Jewison, and Eva Marie Saint.Turner Classic Movies primetime host Robert Osborne and weekend-daytime host Ben Mankiewicz will be on the ship as well. In addition, there will be performances by the Alloy Orchestra, a three-man musical ensemble that has written and performed live accompaniment to classic silent films for more than two decades.

Add Bret Michaels to the list of big name singers headlining a music cruise. Carnival Destiny will set sail in late 2011. The “Rock Your World Super Cruise” featuring a four-night music event, will take place November 10th in Miami and include port of calls in Key West, Fla., Cozumel and Mexico.

Michaels contends that this epic cruise will be one for the record books. He wants nothing more than to rock out and spend quality time with his many fans. He will be available for autographs, answer questions, and actually just mix with the fans.

Grammy Award-winning Weezer will greet fans, as Carnival Cruise Ships feature an all-star musical extravaganza featuring more than a dozen bands.

The Weezer Cruise, as it’s being called, will be a four-night musical extravaganza featuring bands including Dinosaur Jr., Sebadoh, Gene Ween and Dave Dreiwitz, Wavves, The Antlers, Yuck, Free Energy, Boom Bip, J. Mascis and Lou Barlow. Keepaway, Ozma, The Nervous Wreckords, The Knocks, Sleeper Agent, and Yacht Rock Review.

The music festival-at-sea is taking place on the 2,642-passenger Carnival Destiny and kicks of Jan. 19 in Miami. The Western Caribbean voyage includes a stop in Cozumel. Four stages will be used for live performances by the many bands.


Plans for an all-KISS-all-the-time extravaganza at sea will take place in October on the Carnival Destiny.

The four-night KISS Kruise: Wet, Wild & Rockin’, will kick off on Oct. 13 in Miami and include port calls in Nassau, Bahamas and Half Moon Cay, a private island in the Bahamas.KISS fans on the cruise will have a chance to take a photo with the band and experience one big outdoor show — an acoustic performance, with no makeup — and one indoor show in the ship’s main theater. Many on-board activities will be included.
