Norwegian Cruise Lines Designs Modern Cabins For Future Ships

Norwegian Cruise Lines announced unique cabin designs for the next two new ships. The design has captured a similar theme as that of a houseboat emphasizing instead how the modern boutique hotel meets the sea.

Trending toward a little bit younger group of people on the ships, the décor features rich paneling, warm tones with strong accent colors.

In a USA TODAY interview, CEO Kevin Sheehan stated that the new ships cabins are designed to be more functional as well as stylish and will upgrade from the popular Norwegian Epic cabins that serviced the 4,100-passengers.

Specifically, the open-plan bathroom layout will be exchanged for a standard toilet, shower, and sink all in one compartment offering more privacy. The lighting will be updated as well, offering bright well-lit areas and simple to use switches.
